Hello Ziana!
You know what, I think you girls sung beautifully on the competition day. We were just bad luck. SCGS sang too well before the break and the juries changed their taste bud. There were 5 choirs (including us) singing in the 2nd half of the afternoon and 4 in a row got bronze and only last choir got silver. So basically the whole section failed badly.
I was moved by you girls. from first day I heard you all singing with dunno what kind voice and cant sing your own part properly till recently you girls absorb things that we gave like a sponge. Within 3 months you all grown soooo much! All the scolding were just to push you girls further because i know you all can make it. I was thinking if we started the training much earlier say last year at least before September, gold is really not a problem. You all are a lot more musical than a lot of choirs.
I was really upset with the result, I kept asking myself why why ad why. but this is competition and we can't change anything. Most importantly you all should have learnt a lot not just the songs but the attitude towards things like team work and target. I always tell my friend that my bedok town girls are really fighters!
Proudly. I hope that this is not the end of the choir. this thing must go on till this choir can get gold with honor. For friends really love singing who are also last chance participate in syf, should continue singing also. find a choir and JOIN! Like me, I happily singing also :)
It is kind of weird that today is Thursday and I am not at bedok town sec school. Started to miss you girls already.
